Sinéad Cleary Studio started in 2020 with
the vision that people should have a relationship with the objects they live and interact with on a daily basis.
Sinéad wishes to bridge the gap between the
home environment and the natural environment
by creating functional ware with a material history.
As a creator, she seeks to strike a balance between contemporary design and craft. Sinéad’s objects are made with the intention to reflect the hand of the maker and the centuries old craft of ceramics.
Sinéad is also the co-founder of nerine, a floral design studio.
SCS operates out of Chicago, IL on the traditional
lands of the Kiikaapoi (Kickapoo), Kaskaskia,
Bodwéwadmi (Potawatomi), Peoria, Myaamia,
and Očhéthi Šakówiŋ people.
