Sinéad Cleary Studio started in 2020 with
the vision that people should have a relationship with the objects they live and interact with on a daily basis.
Sinéad wishes to bridge the gap between the
home environment and the natural environment
by creating functional ware with a material history.
As a creator, she seeks to strike a balance between contemporary design and craft. Sinéad’s objects are made with the intention to reflect the hand of the maker and the centuries old craft of ceramics.
More recently, Sinéad has been introduced to the world of floral design. Flowers function as a natural extension of her craft. Focused on a sculptural approach to design, she utilizes unique foliage and flowers to create contemporary compositions.
Sinéad Cleary Studio is now able to offer both ceramic + floral design services.
SCS operates out of Chicago, IL on the traditional
lands of the Kiikaapoi (Kickapoo), Kaskaskia,
Bodwéwadmi (Potawatomi), Peoria, Myaamia,
and Očhéthi Šakówiŋ people.
